Obiettivi

In terms of training, the Project aims to set up inter-departmental training and teaching courses for researchers working at UniTrento, open to students, PhD students and researchers from the various UniTrento Departments, with the participation of experts in research integrity issues.

The training is mainly aimed at

  • creating common knowledge and awareness on Research Integrity issues
  • creating opportunities for discussion between PhD students, researchers and lecturers at the University
  • training, in collaboration with the Research ethics and integrity office, within the Research Support and Valorisation Division, PhD students and researchers in the drafting and presentation of projects requiring the opinion of the Research Ethics Committee.

The project also aims to set up training courses for external professionals, including, for example, lawyers.

In terms of research, the Project develops a plurality of lines of investigation along two main directions. The first aimed at a reconstruction of the relevant ethical, legal and deontological profiles of Research Integrity in a national, European and comparative law perspective. The second aimed at concrete work on the University's needs, tools, procedures and potential.

In terms of research, the Project develops a plurality of lines of analysis following two main directions. The first aimed at investigating the most relevant ethical, legal and professional principles and issues of Research Integrity in a national, European and comparative law perspective. The second aimed at a concrete work on the UniTrento needs, tools, procedures and its strengths.

At the institutional level, the Project is part of the University's objectives to promote a shared reflection, new policies, and procedures in the field of Research Integrity. In particular, the Project contributes to the creation of forms of coordination and collaboration between Departments for research requirements in order to provide support to researchers on ethical and legal issues, also through the confrontation and collaboration with research integrity delegates of each Department/Centre of the University.

The project is carried out in collaboration with Research ethics and integrity office, within the Research Support and Valorisation Division.
